- BY ELECrttIC TELEQRArH. (PER UNITED PRKSS ASSOCIATION./ DUNEDIN, April 5. The application of P. M-Cuskey for time to pay 2j years' rent, due on nis sectionsin M.aniototo,was again adjourned for a week. On the application of Mr Brooke Hickson (for Wm. Forrest) it was resolved to open for sale sections 10 and 13, block x., Maniototo. Applications by Elizabeth and Francis Donnelly to exchange their perpetual leases in block r., Lauder, for d.p. licenses were farther adjourned for a week. The Maniototo County Council asked that oa. of the gravel reserve be taken from section 2, block t., Lauder.—The board decided to favorabl consider tha application on receipt of survey. The' application of John" W ; lson to extend his d.p. lease for section 54, block hi., Lauder, under section 20 of the Land Act Amendment Act, ISS7, was granted. Mr Leslie A. Norrmn (on behalf of A. Lapslie) applied to occupy about 70 or SO acres of land between section 2, blocks, Uaseby, and O'Brien's lioliin.;, either ->a d.p. or agricultural lease system.—The chief surveyor requested to have the 500 acres reserved for settlement cut up into sections of suitable sizs to suit the convenience of settlers in the vicinity.
