NASEBY HIGH SCHOOL.

(To tlie Editor of the Mount Ida Chronicle.) ..Sib,- —The Chairman has, I think, misunderstood my. position. I have, never " avowedly opposed " the agitation for a High School any further than my position on the Committee compelled me. I should have been glad to have supported it there; but after very careful calculations I could not do so. My last letter merely explained my position in reply to certain, remarks in the public Press. I have no wish further to interfere.—l am, <&c, John Hobbs.
