TEACHERS’ PAY CUTS
NO RESTORATION UNTIL LEGISLATION.
School teachers cannot have their Salaries restored to the 1931 level until the necessary legislation is through Parliament. A statement to this effect was made by the Minister of Education, Hon. P. Fraser, in response to a question addressed to him by the conference, of the Education Boards’ Association yesterday.
