POSTAL INFORMATION.

Letters and Letter Cards, (inland) Id first ounce, £d each additional ounce.

Postcards (inland) Id. All other places, single Id. (Postal Union rates), Inland Packets, comprising commercial papers, packet and sample packet, and unregistered magazines, £d each 2oz. up to 1 lb. and 2d each additional lb. beyond 1 lb. up to 5 lb.

Beyond New Zealand:—Commercial papers, 2id 10 oz., and Jd each additional 2 oz.

Books and printed papers, beyond New each 2 oz.

Pattern and Sample Packets beyond New Zealand, Id each 4ozs., Id each additional. Additional 2 ozs. or fraction thereof, id.

Late Fee, Id, Registration 3d. Insurance on parcels, 4d up to £2. Charge for Private Letter Boxes, £1 10/- per annum. Money Orders: —New Zealand, £lO or less, 6d commission and 1 3d each succeeding £5 or fraction thereof.

Urgent telegrams, double these rates. The rates on Sundays and Public Holidays aaull be double those on weekdays.

“Daily Letter Telegram” will be accepted for the United Kingdom by both Eastern and Pacific routes and for Canada via Pacific only. They are subject to 48 hours delay.

Rates. —Minimum of 10/ a for 20 words and 6d per Avord thereafter for the United Kingdom; Canada, 10/2 for 20 Avprds and 6d per word thereafter.

Week-end messages, via Pacific, or Eastern, for United Kingdom, 8/4, minimum for 20 words and 5d per Avord in excess; Canada, minimum, of 8/9 fox* 20 words and 5d per word in excess.
