MOTOR CYCLIST COLLIDES WITH CAR.

LOCAL RESIDENT INJURED. As a result of a collision between the motor cycle he was riding and a motor , ear on the Palmerston N.Foxton main highway, near Karere on Saturday night, a young man belonging to Foxton, Mr J. Walker, of 52 Coley Street, sustained a fracture of his right leg. at the time of the accident, having spent the evening in Palmerston N. He was conveyed to the Palmerston N. Hospital by ambulance and -is reported to be progressing satisfactorily. Mr Walker is an employee on Mr J. G. Honore’s farm.
