FOXTON LADIES CROQUET CLUB.
MATCH A GAIN ST MANAWATU. On Wednesday afternoon ladies of the Foxton Croquet Club journeyed to Palmerston North to participate in an . inter-club match ajrainst the Manawatu Club. The games were played on the Terrace End green and a veiy afternoon was spent by all. The results were as follows, Foxton players being mentioned last: — Doubles: Miss Gausted and" Mrs Terry v. Mrs M. E. Perreau and Mrs S.'-Newth, 23—24. Mrs Duckworth and Mrs King v. Mrs J. C. Francis and Mrs Popple, Iff—2l. •Singles: Mrs K. McDonald v. Mrs R. Owen, 26—21 Mrs Sears v. Mrs F.
