Mr and Mrs A. F. Stevenson and family intend leaving Foxton at an early date for Woodville.
The frienls of Mrs G. Honore, of Avenue Road, will regret to learn that she is at present- an inmate of a private hospital in Palmerston North, where she underwent an operation on Saturday. Her conditions is reported to be quite satisfactory.
A one-time resident of Palmerston North and a former Mayor of Eltliam, Mr T. B. Crump, passed away last week at Eltliam. Mr. Crump is survived by his widow and a daughter, Mrs W. Hardwick Smith, of Mangamingi. Mrs T. R. Plodder, of Palmerston North, is a sister.
The Hon. Adam Hamilton, Post-master-General and Minister of Empoymenl, who has been resting and convalescing in. Oamaru and Invercargill, since his recent operation, returned to Wellington on Sunday. Mr Hamilton, who is looking and feeling much better ami stronger than when he went.-away, said in an interview that he was feeling the benefit of his rest from Cabinet duties and that his operation had proved perfectly successful.
