.REFUSE TO GO INTO CAMP. iChristchurch, October 5. One hundred married men, ordered to transfer from relief work in the 'New Brighton district to work at the. Ashley Camp unanimously To refuse to go to the camp. The men affected by the Unemployment Board’s edict and about 50 other unemployed attended the meeting, which carried a- motion objecting to Ashley and all other camps. The instruction to report to the overseer was carried out, all the men refusing to go to the camp and giving family reasons for their decision.
