FOXTON PLUNKET SOCIETY.
The bi-monthly meeting of the Blanket Society was held yesterday afternoon in the Society’s rooms, Clyde Street, presided over by Mrs W. Trueman. Apologies ’or absence were received from AFesdames Christie, Ogilvy and mil Miss Spooner.
Minutes of last bi-monthly meeting were read and confirmed. The nurse’s report which showed over one hundred visits to the rooms for December and January, were read and adopted. Arr. Crotty’s weighing machine yielded 4/8 for the two months.
The secretary was instructed to write to the McCarthy Trust applying for funds for working'expenses. Accounts amounting to £ll 1/8 were passed for payment. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the chair.
