TRANS-TASMAN FLIGHT.

KTXGSFORD SMITH TO LAND AT NEW PLYMOUTH. Ncav Plymouth, July 14. Cabled advice from Sir Charles Kingsford Smith to-day to the NeAv Plymouth Aero Club states that he Avill make his first landing at New Plymouth Avhen his projected Tasman flight in the Southern Cross takes place. The flight is at present scheduled for early in October.

The New Plymouth ground has been selected owing to the size of its surface and the equipment being suitable for the Southern Cross! The aerodrome is one of the feAV in NeAv Zealand equipped with work shops for coping Avith all kinds of repairs to any type of machine, with an experienced ground engineer in charge.
