MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
A civil defended ease occupied a considerable time at Thursday’s sitting of the Foxton Magistrate’s Court. B. L. Everton ('Air. AI. B. Bergin) sought to recover £G2 0/6 interest from A. AI. Scott (Air. A. T. Young). After allowing credits defondntn counter claimed for the sum of £99 8/4 for breach of contract on account of plaintiff failing to complete an artesian well in the terms of the agreement of sale arid purchase. After hearing lengthy evidence, the S.M. (Air. J. L. Stout) gave
judgment for plaintiff? for £3B 12/8, after allowing set offs amounting to £23 7/10, with costs to plaintiff amounting to £7 1/-.
