RANGITIKEI ELECTION PETITION.

A summons asking for further particulars of the allegations in the Rangitikei election petition of James T. Ilogan against Alee Stuart was heard in the Supreme Court, yesterday by the Chief Justice (,Rt. Hon. Sir Michael Myers) and Mr. Justice Reed. An order was made for the particulars to be delivered not fewer than fourteen days before the day fixed for the hearing of the petition. The court fixed the hearing for April 18 at Martou. At tin- last general election Mr. Stuart was credited with a majority of 114 over Mr. Hogan, hut a magisterial recount reduced it to 13.
