(From “The-Manawatu Herald,” October 24th, 1879,) Trucks. —Messrs Campbell, contractors for railway trucks, intend to build 120 at Foxton. We notice Ilia I: the Public Works Department are laying down a line of rails from the shunting linos to the seif lion behind the railway works Imps,, to afford Messrs Campbell connection with the railway and their sheds. The work of constructing the trucks -will be commenced almost immediately. About 800 tons of material will arrive per steamer to be used in the construction of the, trucks.
