FULLER’S PICTURES,
TO-NIGHT,
The current programme is a specially selected one and an outstanding feature ot it is “The Great War.” This picture which is 1400 ft. in length Is of special interest depicting incidents in the soldiers life in the trenches. “The Butterfly” is a story of high life in New York society, showing many exciting and thrilling incidents. “Added Fuel,” provides an excellent detective story, and various other pictures constitute a splendid programme.
MONDAY,
“The Attorney for the Defence,” the question raised in this play is an important one, and will give room for much thought. Frederic Stratton, a young lawyer, accepts the case of one Basset charged with the murder of an employer. Mrs Hamlin Stratton knows that strong evidence points to Basset’s guilt, but thinks that a victory will increase his reputation. His financec is a young lady of high moral principles, and in order to convince her he tells her he knows the murderer is innocent. Stratton wins the acquittal of Basset on a technicality. The rest ot the drama is overwhelmly entertaining and played with exquisite art. Supporting items are: “The Latest Gazette ’ ; ‘‘The Portrait in the Attic,” drama ; “The Salt Industry,” industrial ; ‘‘His Sister’s Kiddies,” comedy; “The Ageless Sex,” comic. This programme will be shown for one night only.
