FOXTON LADIES PATRIOTIC GUILD.

The doll name-guessing competition realised the sum of £6 3s. The name is “Lusitania” and was guessed by four ladies, the drawing resulted in Mrs Munro becoming the owner. The doll was donated by Mrs Podmore and dressed by Mrs Knewstub.

The correct weight of the cake donated by Mrs Walls was silbs 13023. The nearest guesses were 3ilbs by Miss Collins, Mr F. Robinson and Master Kenneth Robinson. The amount realised was £(> 6s.

The guild desires to heartily thank the donors of the cake and doll and also Mr A, H. Boyes for donation of one guinea to the funds.
