A match between elevens from the Himataugi and Foxton schools was played on th« Park on Saturday and resulted in a win for the visitors by 6 runs. Robertson 3 Extras j Total 44 The Horowhenua Association’s competition lor the Hall Shield was continued on Saturday, when Otaki played Bevin on the latter club’s ground. Bevin batted first and scored 59, Rout 11 and McKenzie 19, being the only players to reach double figures. Otaki replied with rO2, thus winning by 43 runs. Naughtou played a fine innings for tue victors, scoring 50 not out, Claridge 20 and Ropata 10 also showed good form.
The fixtures for next Saturday are: Tainui v. Otaki at Otaki, Foxtou v. Training Farm at the Training Farm, Levin a bye.
