SALE OF FLAX LANDS.

Flaxmillers will have an opportunity on Saturday next ot acquiring a splendid block of flax land situated about three miles from Foxton. The property consists of 247 acres, the bulk of which is covered by a magnificent crop of four-year-old flax, equal, in the opinion of a competent expert, to forty tons per acre. Apart from its value as a flax property, the quality of the soil is equal to anything in the Dominion, and as it lies on the Dank of the huge drain being constructed by the Moutoa Drainage Board, the whole of the property will be rendered perfectly dry, and if flax were to fizzle out altogether, it must become very valuable lor farming purposes. The present tram line, and sufficient spare sleepers for lateral extension goes with the property. The property is to be sold by order of the Liquidator of the Hemp Process and By-Products Company, Ltd., and will be offered by Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., at their rooms, Palmerston North, on Saturday next, 23rd inst., at I p.m.
