SENSATIONAL BANK ROBBERY.

During the bank robbery reported at New Westminster, three armed robbers dug through the wall, blew up the safe, and stole ,£60,000. They left ,£5500 strewn about the floor in notes and gold. The Chinese janitor who interrupted their work was sand-bagged and tied to a chair. The men then made their escape. The bank is close to the police station. Later. A number of the stolen notes have been traced by the Vancouver police, who are on the track of a convict released from the New Westminster gaol the day previous to the robbery.
