THE HOLIDAY.
I is hoped that the weather will be propitious ior Monday’s holiday. Among other attractions will be the Athletic Club’s Sports on the Park. The first event will commence at 11.30 a.m. The Foxton Band will be in attendance and some good racing should be witnessed. In the evening a concert will be held in the Public Hall. Those who prefer a trip to the seaside are reminded that the boats leave the wharf at 9.30 a.m., and return at 6 p.m'. The return fare is is, and hot water is supplied free. Excursion fares are available on the railways.
