BELLRINGERS AND BALLY HOOLY BOYS.
Our reader’s attention is drawn to the programme for the local Bellringers’ and Bally Hooly Boys’ concert, which is circulated with this issue. As will be seen, all the songs and choruses are absolutely uew r to Foxtou audiences, and as each is of a totally different character, it forms a most varied entertainment. The chorus, which consists of nearly 20 voices, have been worked up to a high pitch of excellence,, and will no doubt prove a surpiise to those who patronise the entertainment. Special mention must be made of the orchestral selection, 11 The Motor Car,” which is something quite unique, the toot ot the motor horn, and rattle of machinery making itlvery realistic. The orchestra will also accompany the handbells in “Redwing.” This is probably the first time this has been done in the Dominion. The duet, with mandolin, banjo, and piano accompaniment, “Lite’s Dream is O’er,” should be very effective. The Bally Hooly Boys provide several items, all in character. Although they have only made one appearance in Foxlon, it was enough to give them a reputation of which anyone might be proud. Patrons are again advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
