The Century of Lotions.
We have had our ages of stone and of bronze, and so on through increasingly improved grades of mechanical genius, and now, when people ought to have something approaobing an intelligent acquain - tance with the phenomena of their own bodies in health and disease, we are at the end of the century of lotions. Some dyspeptio people have disfiguring blotches and pimples on the face, actually resultant from an hereditary blood taint or a partial blood poison. What else do they expect ? At any rate they attempt to destroy the skin disease by the use of lotions and cosmetics j and alleged " beautiflers," and as these j block the pores of the skin, the result is! precisely the same as in the case of the: man. who shut his flood-gates to relieve a : collapsing dain. Obviously the one sensi- • ble Bnd reflective way of curing a disease ' resulting from blood impurities is to ! directly oorrect the cause, and this J Warner's Safe Cure does. * Skin disease is j not really a disease, but merely u symptom j of ode. While you are foolishly wasting i time with local applications, which would have just as much effect if applied to a bfick wall, a disorganised stomach is ' calling for assistance, or the poisoned j kidneys are crying out for Warner's Safe Cure. The true method of treatment in order to secure a beautiful, clear and transparent skin, is to keep the natural channels of the 3ystem or sewers, which carry off the waste products, perfectly free from stagnation. The natural channel jor the escape oj the waste and effete product*, is thrduyh the kidneys, and the only guarantee of freedom from eruptions ttjion the skin is to maintain healthy action of these otyans. Nature will accomplish what artificial means always fail to do. Nature has her own method and her own way of doing things'. Therefore do not attempt to improve upon her methods. Keep the kidneys free from the poisons which taint the blood and produce blotches, boils, pimples and blemishes- Use Warner's Safe Cure freely upon the first indication of any roughness of the skin, and we will guarantee that the complexion will soon be restored to a perfect condition.
