The discovery of a number of incipient fires and a quantity of dynamite on steamers bound to America leads? to the belief in shipping circles that a conspiracy is on foot to destroy a whole fleet of vessels. In one instance the dynamite -was warm from the heat occasioned by one of these outbreaks of fire. Mr Cecil Ehodes telegraphs that the Matabele are entirely subjugated, aod-Jving Lobengula has fled without any intention of returning.
