To-morrow.

Auctions are the order of the day to-raorrow. Foxton will have in review three of the Palmerston auctioneers, all who will do their best to take our money and give us something in return. At the Public Hall, Mr G. M. Snelson starts the ball at 11 a.m. by offering a very unique collection of Japanese work. They are most tempting, all fresh from the manufactory, and to be sold without the slightest reserve. They can be inspected this evening between 7 and 9 o'clock, and we recommend a visit. At one o'clock Messrs Abraham and Williams will sell a number of sheep at their yards, and there is bound to be a good attendance. In the afternoon Mr Preece will offer a large assortment of fruit and ornamental trees from the nursery of J. Mayo and Sons. The sale will be held in the railway yards.
