Foxton Racing Club.
A meeting of the Stewards and Committee of the Foxton Racing ! Club was held at Whyte's hotel last I evening. Present — Messrs J. R. Stansell (in the chair) Young, Williams, Rhodes, and J. R. McMillan (hon secretary). ', It was proposed by Mr Williams, seconded by Mr Young, That the protest against " Scraps " in the Novel race be upheld and that the stakes be paid out on " Survivor," and that the Secretary write instructing Mwsrs Hill & Poole to pay
out the totalisator dividend on " Survivor." The Secretary was instructed to advertise in the Manawatu Hebai>d stating that Totalisator tickets on " Survivor " in Novel race must be presented to Messrs Hill & Poole for payment. It was resolved that Mr Trask be employed to mow part of the grass on the training track.
