Foxton Racing Club.

A meeting of the Stewards and Committee of the Foxton Racing ! Club was held at Whyte's hotel last I evening. Present — Messrs J. R. Stansell (in the chair) Young, Williams, Rhodes, and J. R. ', It was proposed by Mr Williams, seconded by Mr Young, That the protest against " Scraps " in the Novel race be upheld and that the stakes be paid out on " Survivor," and that the Secretary write instructing Mwsrs Hill & Poole to pay

out the totalisator dividend on " Survivor." The Secretary was instructed to advertise in the Manawatu Hebai>d stating that Totalisator tickets on " Survivor " in Novel race must be presented to Messrs Hill & Poole for payment. It was resolved that Mr Trask be employed to mow part of the grass on the training track.
