A Roman Priest Registrar of the Church of England, Diocese of Norwich.

. + The Rev. W. J. Thompson, Vicar of Christ Church, Stone, Staffordshire, has recently exposed the fact that the Rev. Stuart Eyre Bathurst, a Canon of the Church of Rome, whose name appears in the official Roman Catholic Directory for 1892, at page 812, in the list of Roman Catholic " Priests of Great Britain," and who, according to the Catholic Directory, page 134, is the priest in charge of the Roman Catholic Chinch of " The Immaculate Conception and St. Dominie," Stone, is at the present time the Principal Registrar of the Diocese of Norwich, and reaps a substantial income as such official. Canon Bathurst's name also appears in Crockford's Clerical Directory as a clergyman of the Charch of England. Canon Bathurst must be a happy happy man. He has evidently learned the happy art of serving two masters and getting two " screws."
