Manawatu County Council.
The usual monthly meeting of the above Council was held at Sanson yesterday. Present — The Chairman, (V. C. Ransom), Crs Robinson, Masters, McKenzie and Hammond.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
The correspondence was unimportant. The tender of Stuart and Cook for the delivery of 1430 yards of metal at two shillings and one penny a yard was accepted. The highest tender received for the old Shannon punt was £10 which was not accepted.
Tenders for road work at the Oroua bridge and Milners line will be called for by the 80th April and be dealt with by a oommittesi
