«- _ Wednesday, 10 September. Before J. W, Gower Esq, J. P. Alfred Becker alias Alfred Ander son was charged by the constable with being drunk. The case was ultimately after the other charged was heard, dismissed. Alfred Becker was charged by the Constable with tho use of obseono language in a public place The evidence of J. R. McM'ilan ' and W. Hun'er was takon and showed that the prisoner with his m >te behaved most improperly a' the boating sh-^d on Tuesday afternoon. andus*d most filthy language within the hearing of women and childr n. Tlie B'mch emmited the prisoner to six months har I abour Emel Huth'iias, the mate of the previous prisoner, was chargo 1 with d-uike-tes-- and p eading guilty was fined 5s and costs 2s. Emel Hnthmas was charged with obstructing the po ice and was fined 20s and costs 2s. Emel Huthmas was charged with resisting the police and was fined 20» and costs 2s. All the fries were paid by Huthmas.
