*. _ Every day the s'rikers are recognising the folly of the position they have taken up and are returning to work. RESUMING WORK. The Post says : — We have ascertained that several storernen have returned to work. Messrs G. Thomas & Co. and J. Myers & Co. have got back all thsir bands, who have tendered their resignations as members of the Union. It is understood that Messrs. Cable A; Co.'s hands are quite willing now to do any work on Union Company's boats which the firm may be entrusted to carry out. '1 he etori-men have resumed work at Dunedin, having seceded from the Union. The Ne-v Zealand Express Company's men, who were on strike on Saturday, resumed wok on Mondaj-. At Nap ; er several hundred workmen havo joini-d the Free Labour Association many being Unionists. Several officers at Sydney have offered to return to their ships unconditionally. Tr. London the permanent dock hands have formed a °epurate Union friendly to the masters.
