FOXTON AND SANSON RAILWAY COMPANY.
.» A meeting of the directors of the above Company was held at Messrs Thynne, Linton & Co. 'a offices on Wednesday last, at 10 a. m. Present — Messrs Sanson (Chairman), M'Lennan, Robinson, Gower, Gray, and Thynne. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The following resolutions were passed : — 1. That the Chairman be requested t< get in the portion of the first calls unpaid and to pay the same when clleeted an« what other money iB in hand at interest at some Bank. 2. That the directors fully endorse the Chairman's action in the matter of the late Secretary, and hia having placed the share list ia Mr Whitcombe's hands. 3. That the Chairman be authorised to sue the late Secretary (Mr Jackson) for all damages and costs entailed upon the company by his neglect in preparing the shareholders' register. 4. That in the event of the Chairman taking legal steps against Mr Jackson, he be empowered to employ Mr Hankins, solicitor, Foxton.
