SAILED. October 9. — Cova, schooner, 50 tons, Itu&cll, for Oaniaru, with timber. Ths s.s. Jane Douglas left Wellington at. 4 p.m. on Wednesday, and reached Foxton Wharf at 7 am. yesterday. ?ho leaves hoie to - duy, on the return trip. The schooner Cora got over the bar on Wednesday morning. She htis probably got well on her -journey by now. The steamer Tui leaves Wellington this evening, for Foxton, and returns tomorrow night. The ship Rakaiii, with 2SO immigrants, an i reel at Wellington on Tuesday last, after a passage of 89 clays from Plymouth. She arrives in splendid order, and not * single case of sickness occurred on the Avay out. A seaman named Frank Taylor, aged 19 years, fell overboard on July 27, and although every effort was made to save him lie could uot be seen. John Dailey, the quartermaster, jumped overboard, and (twain all about where he fell in, but only his cap was found. The Rakaiu is consigned to the New Zealand Shipping Co.
