POLISH ARMISTICE DELEGATION.
IN THE HANDS OF THE BOLSHEVIKS. LONDON, Aug. 1. The Morning Post's Warsaw correspondent states that two motorcars conveying the Polish armistice delegation,'headed by General Komer and Wroblowsk, Vice-Foreign Minister, started on Friday night along the Brest-Litovsk-Barinovitchi road for the appointed meeting pla<?e. The delegation crossed a burning bridge near Kobryne, which was immediately afterwards blown up. They crossed another burning bridge three hundred yards distant, which was also blown up, virtually making the delegates hostages in the hands of the Bolsheviks: The correspondent states that an experienced military officer, who secretly watched for several days the progress of the Bolshevik army on the north front, reported that the army was well organised and of good discipline. It was properly armed, though mostly barefooted. The transport consisted mainly of thousands of small farm carts in good repair.
