BERLIN, Aug. 1. It was semi-officially stated that Government asked the Peace Conference speedily to reply to the German request for permission to take the necessary measures to maintain the neutrality of the Eastern frontier, and has requested the Entente to provide shipping to transfer interned Polish troops to the interior of Germany.
