AUCKLAND, July 14. At the Magistrate's. " Court, Bernard Arrowsmith, a marine engineer, sued Henry Cleal, a hairdresser, claiming £118 ss, damages for loss of wages and medical fees, alleged to have been caused, by barber's rash.

The plaintiff stated that he was shaved in the defendant's shop on May 17th and subsequently developed skin disease.

/ The defence was that no relation could be established between the shave and infection. After hearing medical evidence, the plaintiff was non-suited.
