The Prime Minister wa& given an opportunity to-day, as the result of a question by Mr Sidey, of denying the rumor that the Railway Department contemplated another cut during the coal shortage. Mr Massey said that the stocks were below normal, but no cut was imminent, and the Deportment was doing everything possible to secure supplies locally and overseas.
