The Wairau team lost its three, last matches, but was successful in all its previous fixtures. Of eleven matches played Marshlands won 7, lost 3 (all to Wairau), and drew 1.
iTigh School have forfeited next Saturday's fixture- against Wairau, making the championship points as follows:—Marshlands 37, Wairau 33, Hiah School 9.
The:. Board of Governors of the High School are to be commended for making a commencement with the much-needed improvements to the playing areas at the school, and the' boys should by next season liavo a good field for their orirkefc matches. !
