Lord1 Lansdowne, in the House oi Lords, said that the Government was considering the Appeal Court's judgment regarding the Continental Tyre Company, with a view to steps necessary at the end of "the war to prevent companies where the majority of shares are foreign controlled from obtaining the status and privileges of an English company. Lord Halsbury introduced a Bill dealing with enemy companies tradlingin.the United Kingdom. The Daily Mail says it is understood that Cabinet has decided to extend the life of Parliament until January, 1917.
