BLENHEIM STOCK SALE.
Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report holding their monthly stock sale in the Co-operative Yards yesterday. There was a large .yarding of fats for this time of the yr-ar, the majority of which were prime quality, and prices Showed an advance oi Is 6d. per head. Hoggets were in demand, st';re wether hoggets bringing up to 14s 3d. Their offering comprised 910 sheep, practically tie whole yarding being disposed of. ■ They offered on account of Mr C. P. Murray, Wharanui, a line of goodquality fat heifers, and for which there was keen competition, selling at the rate of 30s per lOOlbs. They quote: Fat wethers, 21s 3d to 225; fat wethers, medium, 18s to 19s 10d: fat ewes, 15s to 15s 10d'; forward wethers, 16s to 16s 3d; forward wethers and ewes, .155.t0 15s 6d; s.m. ewes, 13s 66. ; f.m. ewes, 10s. Cd; wether hoggets, 33s to 14s ' 3d. Cattle i Six fat heifers, £10; five'fat heifers, £8 los; throe fat heifers, £8 12s 6d; four fat heifers," £8. '
