I^BLLINGTON, March i The aviator Scotland had a narrow escape from adding one more to tlw list of those done to death by a thoughtless and ill-conditioned crowd. When he could not go up on Saturday an''attempt was made to wreck his machine, and: since then he lias been watching for a chance to keep faith with the public. Yesterday •afternoon ho ascended against his own judgment, and immediately came to grief. Th© air was hi a treacherous condition.
He got into a pocket*, which 9ropped the aeroplane 100 ft., and'to save himself he came down • among the trees of Newtown Park.
He -escaped wiiJh a bruised hand, but the machine -was Sestroyet}, with the exception of ihe engine.
