Y.'HV STRIKES FAIL
\ LACK OF DISCIPLINE.
(Received Aug. 2S, 10.25 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 27. "At a meeting-of the International Transport Workers' Congress at Caxton Hall, Herr Doring, a German delegate; said that many strikes in Europe and England failed owing to lack of organisation and discipline. Some resolutions on the agenda paper aimed -more at revolution than re-organisation, and he advised that tbev be remitted to a sub-committee for careful consideration. M.r Philip Snowden, in a paper on "The Christian Commonwealth, said that the Independent Labor party was a myth. They sat in Parliament because fourrfifths' had made.arrangements with the Liberals. The Chester; field campaign dearly indicated that the Labor party had not the solid support/either of trade--unionists or tho working classes generally.
