MINISTERS TAKE PRECAUTIONS
[Press Association.] CONSTANTINOPLE, June 14. A detachment of infantry and cavalry surrounded the block of buikfcings. while soldiers, gendarmes, and firemen climbed the adjacent a-oois. The assassins refused to surrender, and fired on the troops with revolvers. The fusillade lasted for an hour, until the back stairway was captured. . , None of the assassins were wounded. Ali is a fire brigade lieutenant, and Kazim a Circassian captain. .Several Mauser rifles and pistols were found in the house.
The arrests total 150. Talaat Bey and Enver Bey fear assassination, and elaborate precautions # are being taken to ensure their safety.
