INDIAN VICEROY
LORD HARDINGE TO RESIGN. •
; LONDON, Jan. 20. It is reported that Lord Hardinge will resign the Viceroyship of India when he recovers from the injuries he sustained last month when the attempt upon his life was made at Delhi.
Mr Lewis Harcourt, Secretary of State for the Colonies, is mentioned as Lord Hardinge's probable successor.
