Aiwin for Onamalutu by 33 runs on the first innings was< the outcome of the Onamalutu-High School match at Onamalutu. In their initial innings the victors scored 78 (S.<- White 16, S. Barton 15, and F. Barton 10). High School replied with, only 45, N. Matthews (13) being the chief contributor. lr. Tarrant (49), W. Mead (25), and S. White (18) figured prominently in Onamalutu's second innings, which was declared closed with 5 wickets down for 109. High School were left with 143 to get to win, and when time w-as called had lost 6 wickets for 36 runs. R. Tarrant, who took 5 wickets for 12 in the second innings, was the most successful bowler for the winners, while Wild and Goulding shared the trundling honors for the losers.
