FOOTBALLERS IN AMERICA.
The tour of the United States by the Australian Rugby Union will include matches at Vancouver and Victoria. At a meeting of thq Californian Rugby Union it was decided that the Australians should leave for the north immediately after the game against all California, which will be played the week following the match against the Californian and Stanford Universities. Bids for matches from the Universities of Southern California and the Universities of Nevada were refused, because neither college originally offered any contribution towards defraying the expenses of the tour. Southern California guaranteed £100, and Neva.d#;£l2o, for matches.
