FIG LEAVES FOR NUDE STATUES.
Something of a sensation has been caused by the action of the Vatican authorities in /the attitude they- have suddenly adopted towards the nude figures amongst the statuary in the art galleries attached to .the Pope's Palace. All these statues have been given a fig leaf, but it is not known at whose instance this has been done.
