PRINCE AND ACTRESS
Mary Fergusson, an American actress, and a Russian nobleman, Prince •Alevarider Ivanovitch, were sentenced at the Old Bailey last week to five years' imprisonment for shoplifting. The judge ordered that upon the expiration of their sentences the prisoners were to be deported. A communication from the ' New York police showed that the Prince was a notorious bank _ thief, and that his female associate was wanted in America for having absconded while under bail.
