On reassembling" Hhe Speaker was reading ljthe Standing Orders when he was interrupted by TSLr Wood, and he ordered the Sergeant and messengers to remove'him. "H© resisted, < and several-ctf the Oppofeitionists assisted to prevent his ejectment. During the melee books and papers were hurled towards tlie Speaker. Suddenly three ior four tfolioe ap^ peared- on the scene, "and after a violent sirwgkle removed" Mr Wood. In quiSk succession th© Speaker ordered- the removal brMessrs'^Cphen j Fitzpatxick, "Price, ■ Perry," Moxlam, and Levy. , Mr 'Perry made' a) rtlsh to the' table and seized'the water bottle. 'The police hulled' him off send the others went quietly. . ... There was' intense excitement wniie the ejections- were-procee^ling.
