A NEW PROGRAMME
Every week the Town Hall attracts crowds of patrons to witness the latest cinematograph, surprises. The new budget of films for Wednesday's entertainment contains some gems of instructive and interesting art. The powerful dramatic study illustrating the famous fight between Paul Jones's little vessel the Richard and the mighty Scraphis is the last thing in realistic pictures. One is carried back to the early days when the bold pirate held sway of the sea, and one sees two ships peopled with human beings apparently blowing each other to pieces. A film of rare beauty is entitled "From Marseilles to Sunny Algiers." "Path© Gazette" contains some interesting items from all parts of the world. "Muggins, V.C.," is a stirring story of life in the British Army.. The comics are quite up to the usual high standard. To-night Grovetown is to be visited; to-morrow the new series will be unfolded at the Town Hall, Blenheim; and the usual Thursday's entertainment will take place at Picton.
