CLAPHAM MURDER CASE
At the South-Western Police Court Stinie Morrison has appeared agfin on the charge of murdering. Leon Beron on Clapham Common. " The first witness, a girl named Eva Flitterman, stated that she had met the prisoner four or five times after the date of the murder. A dramatic scene took, place when she said that the first time she saw Morrison a £5 piece was attached to a i watchchain he was wearing—-Beron, it will be remembered was said to have worn such a coin. The prisoner here interrupted excitedly, and exclaimed: "By telling lies you are taking iwy tyfe away." Morrison's counsel stated that the deferice was thai the crime was one of vengeance and not robbery. The mutilation of the body threw a vivid light on the yvboie affair. After; some further evidence the prisoner was again remanded.
