THE ASSOCIATION GAME
REPRESENTATIVE MATCHES
There was a poor attendance of the adult public at the Show Ground on Saturday, when two "Soccer" matches were played—Wellington Schools representatives v. local schools and Blenheim v. Wellington. The school boys rolled, up, however, in their numbers and were very keen on the line. The boys' match was a very interesting one and proved a good exhibition of the game. The local boys were splendid for first year "soccer" boys and the Wellington men, were profuse in their admiration of the standard of play. The men's match was enjoyable, and a fair game resulted, the local weakness being shooting.
