HINEKOA A v. OPAWA

Hinekoa A defeated Opawa by two goals to nil, but the score does not indicate the nature of the game. Hinekoa never left the issue in doubt, and should have scored more but for the players being too eager. Opawa succeeded in invading their opponents' territory only on five occa^ sions, but without gaining any advantage, whereas the Eunekoas repeatedly rushed the ball to Opawas goal. It was a good hard game, and the better team undoubtedly won. The first goal was scored from a scramble in front of Opawa's goal, while the second was the result of a. very fine hit by Miss Nolan.
